Guide Dogs’ Open Doors Campaign

It was great to take part in the Guide Dogs UK #HighStreetHeroes week with their #OpenDoorsForAll campaign visiting businesses and shops in Chingford Mount.

Over 800 volunteers went out on their high streets speaking to local businesses about access rights for assistance dog owners, an important campaign especially when 81% of guide dog owners around the UK have been illegally denied entry because of their guide dog.

Thanks to all the businesses that agreed to have a sticker in the window to let people know that guide and assistance dogs are welcome.
