South Woodford Post Office

31st October 2017

Local MP, Iain Duncan Smith, led a debate in Westminster Hall on the proposals to close South Woodford Crown Post Office. He calls on the Post Office to reconsider as the branch has served the local community very well for many years and there is real public concern and opposition to the plans. He decries the lack of consultation with the local community and calls for the Post Office to look at other opportunities for extra revenue which could turn it into an organisation that was flexible, sensible and highly profitable as has been done in other countries.
